Here are a few updates from Hanson Middle School:

Parent Portal:

The parent portal to view grades will close tomorrow. The portal will reopen on November 6 for parents to review progress reports.

Spooky Movie Night:

Student Council is hosting a Spooky Movie Night tomorrow (10/25) from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This event is open to all students grades 5-8. Admission to the movie is FREE and refreshments will be available for purchase. Please make sure to pick up your children at 7:00 PM.

MCAS Results:

MCAS results will be backpacked home on Wednesday, October 30.  

Spirit Week:

Student Council is happy to present their Spirit Week next week. The themes are as follows:

• Monday 10/28: Grade Colors
  • Grade 5: Purple
  • Grade 6: White
  • Grade 7: Yellow
  • Grade 8: Blue
• Tuesday 10/29: Big/Little Day
  • Grades 5 and 6 dress as babies
  • Grades 7 and 8 dress as senior citizens
• Wednesday 10/30: Pink Out!

For breast cancer awareness

• Thursday 10/31: Rhyme Without a Reason

With a partner, dress in an outfit that rhymes with another person.

For example, dairy and fairy or cat and hat.

• Friday 11/1: Cozy Pajama Day
